Editing

I work as an in-house freelance project editor for Time Out where I’ve edited guidebooks, commissioned a magazine, and commissioned and edited online city guides.

These guides include Time Out Barcelona

and Time Out Dublin as well as Time Out’s

Fly Europe magazine, Time Out’s 500 things
to do in easyJet’s top destinations (2011),
and Time Out Kids magazine, London (2011).

I also commissioned hundreds of online city guides for Expedia.

I also work as an in-house proofreader and editor for Michelin guides using InDesign,
and as a proofreader for Cambridge Publishing Management, publishers of Thomas Cook guides. I’ve also worked as an editorial consultant for Dorling Kindersley for its Southeast Asia guides, and have worked as an editorial consultant for The Content Works.

I worked as an in-house editor for Footprint books in Bath for six years before going freelance. While working for Footprint, I edited dozens of city and country guides, undertook photo research, proofreading and writing marketing material.
