Claire works as a freelance project editor for

Time Out where she has edited guidebooks, commissioned a magazine, and commissioned

and edited online city guides.

These guides include Time Out Barcelona

and Time Out Dublin as well as Time Out’s

Fly Europe magazine.

Claire also works as a proofreader for Michelin guides and for Cambridge Publishing Management, publishers of Thomas Cook guides. She works as an editorial consultant for Dorling Kindersley for its Southeast Asia guides.

Claire worked as an in-house editor for Footprint books in Bath for six years before going freelance. While working for Footprint, she edited dozens of city and country guides, undertook photo research, proofreading and writing marketing material.
